About
My life in about 2 paragraphs
Hi. My name is Aditya Gaddam. I am a (recent) graduate with a Bachelors of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. I am a freelance web-designer and developer and sometimes dabble in graphic design work. I am also a hobbyist game programmer.
As a person, I am somewhat shy, terribly nerdy/awkward/geeky (or any combination of the above) and mostly completely harmless. I value people more than some other things like say, money… or fame. I haven’t had much of either though. So I might yet find out that I am a complete bastard.
Life of Gaddam
I hail from the pretend continent of India - from a rather busy city called Hyderabad. I wasn’t much different as a child as I am now - except maybe a little less stupid. Ok. A lot less stupid. My childhood involved several interesting events including:
- Learning how to ride a bike
- Learning how to ride a bike with no hands, including the infamous face-plant technique
- Crashing into a wall, an unsuspecting pedestrian, and an apathetic cow on said bike
- Scaling 7 ft. walls (I was around 5 ft. then)
- Forgetting to come down safely on the other side
- Playing the game of Cricket in spaces ranging from an actual cricket field to the 5×6′ space between the couches in the living room
- Hating the ridiculousness that is BASIC
After a 14 year streak of staying alive, I moved to the U.S. of A (My dad was called here for a job). I now live in the mostly boring city of Montgomery Village in the equally boring state of Maryland.
